MULL

Privacy Policy

Last updated · July 29, 2026

In short: by default, MULL works entirely on your device — nothing you save is sent anywhere. If you choose to sign in with Google, MULL syncs your content across devices using Firebase. This page explains exactly what that involves.

01 · Overview

What MULL is

MULL is a personal app for saving content shared from other apps — links, screenshots, notes — and organizing it into collections.

02 · Without signing in

Default mode: nothing leaves your device

No data leaves your device, with one exception: when you save a link, the app makes an HTTP request directly to that URL to fetch its title and preview image — the same thing your browser does when you open a link. That request goes to the linked website, not to MULL or any server we operate.

03 · Signed in with Google

What syncing collects

If you turn on sync, MULL collects and stores the following in Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure):

We don't analyze or use this content for anything beyond providing sync and understanding basic app usage. There is no advertising, no profiling, and we don't sell or share data with commercial third parties.

04 · Third parties

Who we share data with

Firebase (Google) acts as our infrastructure provider for sync — not as a third party that reuses your data for its own purposes. Firestore and Storage security rules restrict access so that each user can only reach their own data.

05 · Security

How your data is protected

Synced data travels encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access is protected by Google authentication and server-side security rules.

One thing worth knowing: image download URLs generated by Firebase Storage include an access token embedded in the URL itself — anyone who obtains that specific URL could open that one image without signing in (the same model as a Google Photos or Drive "anyone with the link" share).

06 · Your data, your control

Retention and deletion

You can stop syncing at any time by signing out from the account screen — this does not delete what has already been uploaded to Firebase.

To fully delete your account and synced data, use Delete account and data on the Account screen inside the app — it removes your Firebase Auth account and everything under your account in Firestore and Storage immediately. If you can't access the app, email mario.suelasas@gmail.com with the Google account email you used, and we'll process the request within a reasonable time.

07 · Permissions

What the app requests, and why

MULL does not send notifications, so it never asks for notification permission.

MULL requests no photo or media permission. Images reach the app only through the system share sheet or the Android photo picker, both of which grant access to the one image you picked — never to your gallery.

08 · Children

Age

MULL is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

09 · Changes

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the date above will be updated and, for significant changes, we'll note it inside the app.
